Colliding continents, the continue....

How on, Earth, is it, possible, that we, have more continents, than, on the beginning, of my torture? We get, more continents, & less land. That's strange.

I was, thinking, it through,  I've 2 possibilities; or it's been, caused, by the, colliding continents, or it's, been hidden, that's, it's not not, that number, of continents.
